Ultra sweet antique Georgian rose cut diamond and opal ring.
The ring is very dainty with a very thin (as in knife edge rather than worn) yet sturdy 9ct rose gold band.
It is such an unusual design.
The diamonds catch the light beautifully and the opal though tiny, displays great play of colour.
The stones are open backed making it perfect for everyday wear (we suspect the original closed back setting of the ring may have been opened up at some stage but we cannot be sure).
It is an elegant beauty on its own but also stacks perfectly with other bands for a splash of colour and vibrancy.
