Sensational and incredibly rare 18th century Portuguese ‘Order of Christ’ cross charm

Beautifully crafted in silver and encrusted with diamonds and flat cut rubies and a further crown of diamonds, at the centre of which rests a flaming red enamel heart topped with a black enamel crucifix.

The reverse of the cross is backed in gold at the cross part and engraved with a border and a tiny silver heart at its centre.
