Sensational early Victorian Moonstone and rose cut diamond heart ring.
The ring has at its centre a carved moonstone heart which is surrounded by a halo of rose cut diamonds.
The shank has been meticulously crafted in 18ct yellow gold with a beautiful pierced gallery supporting the face of the ring.
Either side of the heart is the sweetest littlest swirly scroll detail framing the heart.
The moonstone itself appears to be glowing from the inside and offers the most mesmerising icy blue flashes when the lights reflects off its surface.
It is very rare to find an original antique moonstone ring, most have been made into rings at a later date from former stickpins. This ring is completely original and its condition is remarkable. A true heirloom piece.
