Converted from a stickpin we have added an antique Victorian 18ct gold chain to transform this snake into the most adorable pendant.

The detail of the snake is exceptional with its turquoise cabochons that decorate the head, the intricate detailing of the engraved snake skin as well as its tiny ruby set eyes.

The most fascinating detail in our opinion is the tiny teardrop charm that is suspended from the snake’s tongue.

it is set with a rhodolite garnet cabochon which practically glows from the inside and has a secret locket compartment on the reverse complete with bevelled glass.

The locket currently contains a tiny piece of fabric original to the locket but this could be removed by a jeweller and replaced with a micro keepsake of your choice.

It is an absolutely fantastic example of antique snake jewellery and would make a great addition to anyone’s collection.
