1. Cookies and Privacy
We employ the use of cookies to improve user experience and analyse site performance. By accessing England’s Dreaming Jewels, you agree to use cookies in agreement with our Privacy Policy. Our data practices are governed by UK GDPR and the Data (Use and Access) Act 2025. Any personal information submitted through the store is handled as described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Intellectual Property Licence
Unless otherwise stated, England’s Dreaming Jewels owns the intellectual property rights for all material on this website, including all product photography, logos, and unique item descriptions. All intellectual property rights are reserved. You must not:
Republish, sell, rent, or sub-license material from this website.
Reproduce, duplicate, or copy our unique photography or descriptions for commercial purposes.
3. Antique & Vintage Product Disclosures
As a specialist in antique and vintage jewellery, the following terms apply to all listings:
Nature of Goods: Items are sold in pre-owned, antique, or vintage condition. Signs of wear consistent with age are not considered "faults" but are part of the item's character and history.
Accuracy: We make every effort to display colours and dimensions accurately. However, we cannot guarantee that your device’s display will accurately reflect the true colour of the gemstones or metals.
Hallmarking: We comply with the UK Hallmarking Act 1973. Items made of precious metals (Gold, Silver, Platinum, and Palladium) will be hallmarked where required by law. Many antique items are sold as "exempt" if they were manufactured before certain dates, as permitted by the British Hallmarking Council.
4. Pricing, Payments, and Errors
Pricing: All prices are shown in GBP (£). In accordance with the Digital Markets, Competition and Consumers Act 2024, all costs, including delivery, are clearly stated before the point of purchase.
Errors: Occasionally, information on our site may contain typographical errors or inaccuracies regarding pricing and availability. We reserve the right to correct any errors and to cancel orders if any information is inaccurate, even after an order has been submitted.
5. Consumer Cancellation Rights (The "Cooling-Off" Period):
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, you have a statutory right to cancel your order:
14-Day Right to Cancel: You have 14 days from the day you receive your jewellery to notify us that you wish to return it for a refund.
Exclusions: This right does not apply to items that have been resized, customised, or altered at your request.
Returns: Items must be returned in the same condition they were received. For change-of-mind returns, the customer is responsible for the cost of fully insured return shipping.
6. Faulty Goods and Statutory Rights:
In accordance with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if an item is not of satisfactory quality, not fit for purpose, or not as described. Please note that "satisfactory quality" for an antique item takes into account its age and the description provided at the time of sale.
7. Prohibited Uses:
You are prohibited from using the site or its content: (a) for any unlawful purpose; (b) to infringe upon our intellectual property; (c) to upload viruses or malicious code; (d) to scrape data or spam; or (e) to interfere with the security features of the Shopify platform.
8. User Feedback and Submissions:
If you send us creative ideas or testimonials, you agree that we may, at any time, edit, copy, and distribute these in any medium. We are under no obligation to pay compensation or maintain these in confidence.
9. Limitation of Liability:
We do not warrant that your use of our service will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the maximum extent permitted by law, England’s Dreaming Jewels shall not be liable for any injury, loss, or consequential damages of any kind arising from your use of the service or products procured from us, beyond the purchase price of the item. Your statutory rights remain unaffected.
10. Governing Law:
