Antique Colombian Emerald Charm

A rare Colombian emerald charm, converted from a single antique earring and rich in historical significance. Colombian emeralds have been prized since antiquity, revered by the Incas as sacred stones and later coveted across Europe for their exceptional colour and clarity. By the Georgian and Victorian periods, Colombian emeralds were regarded as the finest in the world, symbolising renewal, love, and eternal youth.

This example is set in warm 9ct gold and accented with rose-cut diamonds, whose soft sparkle complements the vivid green of the emerald beautifully. The conversion has been carried out sensitively, allowing the piece to be worn and enjoyed once more while retaining its antique character. A small but powerful charm, full of history and presence.
