Antique Georgian Flat Cut Garnet Star Pendant

Antique Georgian star pendant with six flat-cut garnets set into a closed-back star setting with hues of pinks and reds.

We have converted this piece from a Georgian lace pin, which was damaged, and we added a large loop, making this perfect to hang from just about any kind of chain for a glowing celestial vibe.

Size:  Not including the large bail, the pendant measures approximately 2cm x 1.8cm

Condition: Very good antique condition. The reverse still shows the remainder of the old brooch fitting, and there is also a very small hole where the clasp was once situated. Neither distracts from the beauty or wearability of the piece.
Care: Due to the closed-back setting and age of the piece, it should not be submerged in water or exposed to harsh chemicals, as this might damage the colour of the foil-backed stones.
