Two Victorian Silver Witches' Heart Charms with Rose Cut Diamonds

This fantastic pair of Victorian witches' heart charms is encrusted with rose cut diamonds and finished with arrow detail, and we are obsessed with them. The patina on the silver and the aged glow of the foiled rose cuts is simply superb. We have converted them from a damaged pair of earrings, adding 9ct gold bales and matching 18ct gold jump rings so they can be worn as charms. The diamonds are set into silver, and the reverse of each has been gilded to avoid staining the wearer's clothes. The charms are sold separately.

Witches' hearts are associated with love and protection, and the arrow detail adds a romantic touch typical of sentimental antique jewellery. These charms are a wonderful find for collectors of antique silver and diamond jewellery.
