These antique sword chain extenders are crafted in 15ct gold and set with opals, and come in two options. The first is in 15ct yellow gold, with two chubby 18ct yellow gold jump rings added by us. The second is in 15ct rose gold also with two added chunky gold jump rings. Swords were a popular motif in antique jewellery, suggesting courage, protection and loyalty, and the opals add a lovely play of colour. Each is a practical way to add length to a favourite chain while remaining a feature in its own right.
