This piece has been newly cast by us from a broken original French seal, allowing a once-damaged object to be beautifully reimagined and worn again. The central heart and arrow motif has been carefully enamelled, along with the inscription above, bringing the design vividly to life.

The French inscription reads ‘Il est blessé’, translating to ‘He is hurt’, framed by a heart and arrow. Love tokens like this were created as deeply personal expressions of affection, longing, and devotion, intended to be worn close as intimate symbols rather than decorative jewellery alone.
