Antique Georgian Silver and Emerald Hand Charm
A Georgian silver hand charm, finely detailed and set with uncut diamonds and emeralds. The single hand motif, shown with a lace cuff and jewelled adornment, was a fashionable and symbolic form in Georgian jewellery, often associated with protection, guidance, fidelity, or remembrance. Pieces of this kind were admired for both their craftsmanship and their layered meaning.
This example has been converted from a larger original piece by us into a wearable charm. It is finished with a 14ct peach-toned gold jump ring - a rare and highly collectable survival, discovered during a continental treasure hunt and full of period character.
