Antique Georgian Turquoise Five Stone Ring
A sensational antique Georgian turquoise five-stone ring, rare, charming, and beautifully preserved. The graduated turquoise cabochons are set into a closed back 15ct yellow gold setting, a classic Georgian technique that enhances the depth and softness of the stones’ colour. The shoulders are finely engraved and finished with tiny orb detailing, adding texture and delicacy to the design.
Turquoise was highly prized in the Georgian period, associated with protection, friendship, and good fortune, and five-stone arrangements were often chosen for their balanced, harmonious appearance. This ring is an especially lovely example, full of character and craftsmanship, and increasingly hard to find in such excellent condition.
