Victorian 9ct Gold Opal Charm

This fantastic antique Victorian charm is set with an ultra vibrant opal, its lovely play of colour lit with flashes of red. The stone is ornately set into 9ct gold, and we have added a chubby gold jump ring, so it is ready to wear on a charm bracelet or chain. Small but full of colour, it adds a vivid pop of fire to any stack.

Opals were a favourite gemstone of the Victorian era, admired for their shifting colours, and ornate gold settings like this one were made to show them off to best effect. Opals showing red flashes are especially sought after, making this a lovely find for collectors of antique gemstone jewellery.
