Victorian-inspired Garnet Cabochon Silver Ring

A stunning Victorian-inspired garnet ring, centred with a glowing garnet cabochon of approximately 1.5 carats that radiates rich, warm colour. The central stone is framed by a sweet leaf surround, accented with three tiny rose-cut diamonds set into silver, a traditional technique used to show off the stones’ colour and enhance their sparkle to optimum effect. The remainder of the ring is crafted in 18ct yellow gold, creating a beautiful contrast with the silver set stones.

The garnet is set in a closed back setting, deepening its colour and intensity. The inside of the band is marked ‘18ct’ with an antique-style mark. The ring is believed to be a marriage of Victorian and later components, but the combination works exceptionally well, resulting in a beautifully balanced and highly wearable piece.
